Funding

Funding for the Center comes from

• US Office of Refugee Resettlement, Torture Victims Rehabilitation Authorization (TVRA)
• United Nations Voluntary Fund for Victims of Torture (UNVFVT)
• Sub-grants from other organizations to provide mental health care for their clients
• Local, regional, and national foundations and faith-based grants
• Individuals, religious, and community-based organizations

CST experienced rapid managed growth of 40-120% per year from 2003 through 2005. Through expanded funding, CST was able to open an outreach office in Austin in 2005. We are curently seeking funding to provide services to survivors in the Houston area in 2008.
